The UNSC Yamato is a UNSC supercarrier and sister ship to the UNSC Musashi, assigned to Colonel Evangeline A.K. McDowell as support for the 3rd Marine Special Operations Divison. As such, the Yamato became Evangeline's personal starship, and was heavily modified beyond the original design specifications by technicians in Mundus Magicus. The Yamato came to be seen as the symbol of the UNSC-era Mahora Mage Knights Defense Brigade, and was regarded as the unit's mobile headquarters. The ship directly participated in the Liberation of Mahora by deploying air support and ground vehicles to allied forces fighting on the surface.
