R'tahz Tia is a fictional character and protagonist in Kuro Arashi: The Black Storm. A native to the magic world, Terras Magicus, he is a minister magi to J'karu Rhome and an adept lancer. His readily-identifiable armor, as well as his skill at wielding his artifact weapon, the Gae Bolg, have earned him a reputation in the magic world as the Azure Dragoon.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Pactio: Fidelis Lancearios (lit. Faithful Lancer): R'tahz is J'karu's permanent pactio partner. His artifact is a massive lance, seven feet long, known as the Gae Bolg (lit. Spear of Mortal Pain) and is known as the legendary spear given to the ancient warrior Cúchulainn of myth. Made from the bone of a sea monster, the Coinchenn, the spear is a many barbed and bladed weapon, allowing R'tahz to use it in various fashions of fighting. Piercing blows struck by this legendary artifact cannot be healed by magical means.
- Dragoon: R'tahz is one of the few remaining individuals in Mundus Magicus to wield the ancient art of dragonslaying. By the manipulation of latent magic energy, he can propel his body great distances into the air and come back down at near-sonic speeds, with only the foe at the end of his lance harmed by his momentum.
- Weapon Proficiency (Lance): His main weapon since the early days of his youth, R'tahz is exceptionally talented with lance weapons. This manifests in his pactio artifact being the legendary spear, Gae Bolg. Because the nature of his artifact means he would almost always deal fatal damage with it, he normally wields a plain spear with a diamond-headed blade. However, he is no less skilled for his choice of weapon.
