Kaolla Su (カオラ・スゥ, Kaora Sū) is a character from the series Love Hina by Ken Akamatsu and a primary protagonist in Kuro Arashi: The Black Storm. She is an eighth grade foreign exchange student who boards at the Hinata-Sou. She goes to the same school as Shinobu Maehara.
Liking to keep her origins a secret, it was initially thought that she was from India, or possibly even Australia. However, it was later revealed that she was actually a royal princess from the Island Republic of MolMol, an island nation in the Pacific.
Her ambition is to return to her homeland to start a computing school and transform her country into a technological power that will rival, and eventually conquer, Japan.

Early Life[]
Born as a princess of the Island Republic of MolMol, when Kaolla's father passed away he was succeeded by Lamba Lu's father who adopted both Kaolla and her sister, Amalla Su, into his family.
Life at the Hinata[]
Not wishing to take on the responsibilities of her royal station, Kaolla ran away to eventually live at the Hinata House and becomes quite attached to Motoko Aoyama, whose reasons for living at Hinata are similar to Su's. Su likes all the other residents in the Hinata Apartments and gets along well with them, though they have difficulty keeping up with her hyperactive tendencies; only the athletic Motoko seems to be able to tolerate and keep up with her. Her like for Keitaro Urashima stems from the fact that he reminds her of the person she refers to as her older brother (actually her cousin, whom she grew up with).
Priority Shift[]
Kaolla is among the group that goes to check the examee's scores after Keitaro had fled to Pararakelse. Along with Shinobu, Mutsumi Otohime, Mitsune Konno, Mei Narusegawa and Sarah McDougal all of them go to look at the posted scores for the three young hopefuls. Mutsumi is the first to find hers and exclaims happily that she has finally gotten into the University. Mei discovers that her older sister has also managed to get into the school. Mitsune then states that the group is ready to depart, but Shinobu protests, stating that they should check Keitaro's score. The entire group displays shock, upon their discovery of the score, that Keitaro still managed to get into the school, despite rushing and fleeing the exam.
Accompanied by Shinobu and Mei, the younger three determined that they need to go look for Keitaro as well. They are stopped for a moment by Mitsune and Mutsumi, though Kaolla remidies this problem swiftly via means of her Mecha-Tama and a jet pack installed in Shinobu's stuffed animal and the three head off to Pararakelse.
