Akira Miyazaki (宮崎 あきら, Miyazaki Akira), service number 34509-14583-AM, was a captain that served in the UNSC Marine Corps, a character from Future Perfect: Chao Lingshen's Tale and a protagonist in in Destiny Unwritten: Squad Six. He is the descendant of Nodoka Miyazaki and he shares her soft-spoken nature.
Well-mannered and well liked, Akira is the captain and commanding officer of Squad Six. He is well known within ONI as one of the few mages of his time that serves in the UNSC and as such is often assigned to carry out work that might require the knowledge of the existence of magic.
While hee is of the opinion that magic would not make a difference in the war and would in fact only cause more distress for humanity if the secret came out now, he does wish for a time when the remaining mages do not have to hide in the shadows.
